RUMOR: Pegatron Will Manufacture Fourth-Generation CDMA iPhone

Pegatron Technology, a subsidiary of ASUS, has reportedly landed a contract to undertake production of the fourth-generation iPhone scheduled for launch later in the year. Pegatron will be joining Foxconn, who is an established Apple partner and already manufacturing the iPhone 3GS.
Rumours over the past few months have linked Pegatron to a “world phone” model of the Apple iPhone, which it is believed would use both CDMA and also GSM networks. The lack of CDMA has stopped the iPhone from working with some carriers, including Verizon and Sprint.
