Review: New Verrückt Map for Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies

Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies for iPhone and iPod touch has its first downloadable map, Verruckt. It gives you a fresh challenge with a new environment to fight off even more zombies.
The map includes some new weapons and electro-shock defenses. The details, lighting and sounds of Verruckt are amazing, and the movement is very good. The map offers some great places to hideout, but if you don’t keep the zombies outside as long as possible, they will eventually come at you so fast that you won’t be able to hold them back for very long. The game makes your heart beat fast and keeps you moving your character around even faster. This game can get very fast-paced, which I love!
Verruckt plays great in multiplayer. The map is fairly large, so it helps to have others fighting off the zombies with you. It supports up to four players over Wi-Fi and two players over a local Bluetooth connection.
I’ve been very impressed with the gameplay of Zombies for iPhone, and I love how they are adding new maps. I’m hoping that this is only the first of many more to come.
The map Verruckt is in-app purchase of $4.99. If you don’t have World at War: Zombies yet, check it out in the App Store.
