New Gestures Revealed in Latest iPhone 3.2 Beta

From iPodNN:

Some early details of iPhone 3.2 SDK beta 4 have emerged from developer sources. Buried within a “gestures” folder in the code are two new PLIST files, “3Tap” and “LongPress.” These accompany easily recognizable commands for pinching, rotating and other multi-touch tasks.

The files would appear to represent new triple-tap and press-and-hold commands, but how these might be implemented is unknown. One possibility is that the commands may not even be used until a future iPhone firmware update, such as v4.0. At the same time, Apple has not fully detailed the v3.2 firmware, which should accompany the launch of the iPad on April 3rd.
