iPhone 4 Upgrades to HSDPA and HSUPA Can Double 3G Bandwidth Speeds

ZDNet is reporting that speed tests, using the Speedtest.net app, are showing much faster upload speeds on the iPhone 4 compared to 3G.  The increased speed is due to the iPhone 4’s upgrade to HSDPA (which began with the iPhone 3GS) and HSUPA (which is new to the iPhone 4).

ZDNet is also reporting that they have not been able to replicate the iPhone 4 “antenna problem” that many tech blogs have reported on but not actually tested themselves.
