Apple has released iOS 4.1 beta to developers on their iPhone Dev Center website. The update includes Game Center, Apple’s new social gaming network. With Game Center, users can invite friends to play a game, start a multiplayer game through matchmaking, track their achievements and compare their high scores on a leader board. Apple has said Game Center will come out later this year.
Some other updates in iOS 4.1 beta include the ability to add Favorites in the iPhone app as Voice or FaceTime and spell checking can now be turned off in Settings.
