We have obtained a close-up image of the new Thunderbolt/DisplayPort hybrid port on the new MacBook Pro rumored to be announced tomorrow. So if Thunderbolt uses the mini-Display port, how am I going to plug in my 24″ external monitor and transfer something using Thunderbolt?

Maybe the new Apple Cinema Displays will have a Thunderbolt port on them. It would suck for anyone who doesn’t want to get a new monitor though.
