Apple Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh ‘New In Box’ Available on eBay

In the spring of 1997, Apple introduced the Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh (TAM) to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the company. Apple manufactured only 12,000 TAMS, making it very rare today and considered a collectible by many. A TAM is currently up for auction on eBay and the seller says it’s unused and still in box. At the time of this post, the current bid was at $1,205. The retail price back in 1997 was $7,499. I have a hard time believing someone would pay that much for this computer today, but we’ll have to wait six days to find out.
