Sources Say Apple is Signing Cloud-Music Deals

Multiple music industry sources told CNET that Apple has signed a cloud-music licensing agreement with EMI Music is very close to completing deals with Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment. CNET reported last month that Warner Music Group already had a deal in place with Apple.

Apple is expected to announce a new cloud-music service very soon. The cloud-music service would let users store their songs on Apple’s servers and access their libraries from Internet-connected devices.
