Apple Leaks ‘iPhone 4S’ Name in Latest iTunes Beta

Apple has leaked the name of the next-generation iPhone scheduled to be unveiled on Tuesday, October 4. References to an iPhone 4S have been found in the latest beta of iTunes. The image icons for the iPhone 4S look identical to the iPhone 4.

So it looks like we won’t have a redesigned iPhone next week like some expected. My prediction is that the iPhone 4S will have Apple’s dual-core A5 processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP camera and the same Gorilla Glass on the back panel that is currently used on the front of the iPhone 4.

You never know, Apple could be releasing this just to mess with us, but I doubt it. Apple has already pulled the iTunes beta.
