Alfred Mac App Launcher Version 1.0 Now Available, Lots of New Features

Alfred is a productivity app for Mac OS X, which helps save you time in launching apps and searching for files on your computer and the web. Version 1.0 of Alfred was just released and includes some great new features.

From what I’ve seen so far, it looks like Alfred is trying to offer many of the abilities the once very popular Quicksilver app offered. By the way, Quicksilver is still being supported, but many of the plug-ins no longer work with Lion.

Version 1.0 of Alfred isn’t available in the Mac App Store yet, but you can download it from
