Awesome Interactive iPhone Created Entirely on CSS3

Posted on January 3, 2012 by

Head on over to to see this iPhone 4 rendered in pure CSS3, absolutely no images used. You can even slide to unlock and it has functioning Power and Home buttons.

Why this is cool:

  • This rendering of iPhone 4 and its icons was made in pure CSS3.
  • No images, no base64, no SVG, no canvas, just 3395 lines of CSS code and 335 lines of Javascript code (with jQuery, of course).

Works best if viewed with the latest versions of Safari and Chrome in Mac OS X. If you haven’t seen the working CSS3 version of Apple’s wireless keyboard, you should check that out too.
