US Government Dumps BlackBerry in Favor of iPhone and iPad for NOAA

The national Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is officially discontinuing RIM’s BlackBerry from its list of supported mobile devices. The U.S. government will supply workers with iPhones and iPads running iOS 5 and above instead.
