iOS Soars Ahead of Android Development as Apple Makes Move Into the Enterprise Market
Posted on July 24, 2012 by vincent oliver

Apple’s iOS is surging ahead of Google’s Android platform for enterprise development, according to survey results from Appcelerator, a mobile platform development company. The company asked 3,600 of its developers what operating system is best positioned to win the enterprise market, and they responded iOS over Android by a 53% to 38% margin.
Apple has put more emphasis on supporting the enterprise through better security, and the size of the iOS market and price point of the devices are also factors.
