NASA Uses MacBook Pros to Get Curiosity on Mars (Pictures)

NASA successfully landed Curiosity on Mars early this morning, and pictures of Mission Control show that Macs and OS X played a big part in this mission. Of course, this doesn’t surprise me. If you’re working on a project this important and expensive, it makes sense to use the best.

I’m guessing the guy using the Thinkpad in the picture above is just updating Twitter, while the Macs do the hard stuff.
