Introducing the iPhone Steve Jobs Never Would Have Released

The iPhone X (10) was recently announced by Apple, making it the 11th…or 18th iPhone model depending on how you’re counting. For the first time in iPhone history, Apple has introduced inconsistency into the user interface of their devices. With the removal of the home button, Apple has been forced to think of a new way to implement the action of that button. So now when you swipe up from the bottom of the screen, you will get to the home screen instead of Control Center. Control Center is now accessed by swiping down from the top right of the screen…which on any other iPhone still gives you Notification Center. I understand if changes need to be made in new iOS versions to support new features and hardware, but the inconsistency is what bothers me. I can’t imagine Steve Jobs ever letting something like this happen.

Here’s the iPhone 18…I mean X.
