AT&T’s online store now has refurbished iPhone 4′s marked down $50.  You can get the 16GB model for $149 and the 32GB model for $249.  Refurbished iPhones get new casings, screens and batteries, so they are basically brand new.

In a Q&A posted on Rockstar’s website, a developer mentions that the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy will be coming to Mac, maybe as soon as this year.

From Rockstar Games:

Look for the long-awaited release of the classic Grand Theft Auto Trilogy (Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas) for Mac – most likely later this year.  We’ll have much more info and a proper announcement soon.

AppAdvice has a pre-release demo of VLC for iPad, which has been submitted to the App Store for approval.

An iPad version of the popular open source media player, VLC, has been submitted to the App Store for approval. VLC is known for being able to play just about every video format, so this is good news for anyone who gets annoyed by having to convert all their video into the QuickTime compatible MP4 format before playing on the iPad.

Apple’s new iPad commercial shows how the iPad can be musical one moment and medical the next. “iPad is never just one thing.”

Apple has added a new section to the App Store for Game Center enabled games for iOS 4.1.  There are currently around 20 games letting you compare scores and achievements with friends using Game Center, and I’m sure that many more will become available very soon.

Apple’s new social gaming network, Game Center, is now live with the release of iOS 4.1 for iPhone and iPod touch. The first game to be compatible with Game Center was Ms. Pac-Man. Flight Control and Real Racing have also been updated today for Game Center.

I’m sure many more games will be coming out and updated for Game Center within the next few days, and we’ll keep you updated on the latest news about this exciting new iOS feature.

I know the iPhone 4 “antenna issue” has basically been forgotten by now, but I just found out about this great video showing how stupid the press was for hyping it up so much.

iOS 4.1 is now available for the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and 2nd and 3rd-generation iPod touch models. iOS 4.1 includes Game Center, Apple’s new social gaming network. Also included in this update is HD video uploading to YouTube and MobileMe and High Dynamic Range (HDR) photos on iPhone 4.

iOS 4.1 is also supposed to fix the proximity sensor issue in the iPhone 4 and performance issues on the iPhone 3G.
