According to TechCrunch, Apple is in the process of negotiating a deal with Nuance Communications, the creator of the voice recognition software Dragon NaturallySpeaking. It is unknown exactly what the deal is about, but most likely it has something to do with bringing Nuance’s voice recognition technology to the iPhone. Nuance currently has Dragon Dictation for iPhone, but if Apple partnered with Nuance, they could bring this voice recognition technology natively to iOS.
