Best Buy is matching Apple’s Back to School promotion by offering a $100 Best Buy gift card to customers who purchase a qualifying Mac. According to Mac Rumors, Best Buy isn’t advertising the promotion, so you will have to ask for it specifically.

Last week we reported that Apple was offering a $100 iTunes/App Store gift card this year instead of the usual iPod touch. It hasn’t been announced when Best Buy’s promotion will end, but Apple’s Back to School promotion ends on September 20, 2011.
