HBO is finally going to be available without a cable or satellite subscription. Apple and HBO announced a new streaming service called HBO NOW that starts in April and gives subscribers access to every episode of every season of HBO’s original programming and exclusive movies, documentaries, sports and more. The subscription will cost $14.99 a month and only available on Apple devices at launch.
The announcement was made at Apple’s media event today. Apple also lowered the price of the Apple TV from $99 to $69.
