RUMOR: Apple Designer Jonathan Ive Has a 50-Inch Apple Television in His Studio

Today’s rumor of an Apple-branded television comes from USA Today, and I wouldn’t put much trust in it. They claim to have a source who used to work at Apple, but the article is mostly full of previous speculation and opinions about what an Apple television would be like.
But there is one piece of information we hadn’t heard before. Supposedly Jonathan Ive, senior vice president of industrial design at Apple, has a “slick 50-inch TV” in his studio.
Apple is said to be looking at a 42-inch or larger LCD TV with built-in Wi-Fi. Inside the locked-down studio of Jonathan Ive, senior vice president of industrial design at Apple, there’s a slick 50-inch TV, according to the source who worked at Apple.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a 50-inch TV, but if he really has an Apple-branded TV in his office, I don’t think this “source who worked at Apple” would know about it.
